This ‘Angel’ sits at the entranceway to an abandoned weathered boxcar that is so full of character. The train car takes on an ambiance of a past that seems to have a story all its own to tell. The train is symbolic of time and a path taken in life.

As in her other paintings, the violin which is Yi-Ping' favorite instrument, serves as a ‘voice’ to convey a message. Yi-Ping explains it this way: ‘This poetic 'Angel' sings a song on her violin that tells us of this train's travels. We are all passengers –just like her– on our journey through this life’.
